A Message From Your National President

Dear members,

I’m writing to share the results of Unifor’s regional strategy sessions discussing the next National Collective Bargaining Program.

Over four months this spring, our union held 45 strategy sessions across the country, including two virtual sessions. These sessions provided space for members to talk openly about their bargaining experiences, strategies, and priorities. The sessions also allowed members to consider Canada’s current economic and political challenges, and how Unifor must respond.

This summary report presents the key themes that will guide the development of the new National Collective Bargaining Program to be presented at the Bargaining Workers’ Power Summit on August 17 in Halifax in conjunction with Unifor’s 2023 Canadian Council.

Read the ‘Bargaining Worker Power’ interim report here.

Thank you for your contribution to the bargaining program so far, and I hope to see you in Halifax this summer.

In solidarity,

Lana Payne
National President
