Advanced Polls Are Now Open

It’s time to vote in the 2021 federal election! Advance polling is available between today and Monday September 13th, from 9am – 9pm.

To vote at the advanced polls, you must vote at your assigned polling station. Check your voter registration card for the location of your assigned polling station, or look it up on the Elections Canada website using your postal code: https://www.elections.ca/home.aspx

You can also cast your vote early via special ballot at any Elections Canada office from now until 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14. Elections Canada offices will be open seven days a week:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: noon to 4:00 p.m.

What do I need to bring?

  • Valid ID that shows your name and home address.
  • Your Voter Information Card if you received one in the mail. Bringing it with you to your voting place will make voting faster and easier, but is not required.
  • If you want, you can bring your own pen or pencil to mark your ballot.
  • A mask to wear at your voting place. You will not be asked to remove your mask to vote.
