Exactly 100 years ago, with poverty, unemployment, and the gap between rich and poor growing, workers in Winnipeg Manitoba held one of the largest, most important general strikes in North America history. McMaster professor Wayne Lewchuck who is a great instructor will tell us about the historical strike and discuss the lessons we can learn for today.
