I would also like to thank our Women’s Standing Committee for doing a great job representing our Local, for fund raising and contributing to agencies in our community. On June 8 2016, past and present Unifor Local 199 Women’s Committee members presented YWCA and West Niagara Second Stage Housing with a cheque for $2 000.00 each to assist each not-for-profit organization. The money was granted from the National Unifor Social Justice Fund.
