DAVIDSON, Douglas Wayne

On behalf of the membership, staff and the Executive Board of Unifor Local 199, I would like to offer our condolences to the familie and friends of Doug Davidson, he will be missed.
Peacefully, on March 27th, 2019 with family by his side at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Heather Jane (Robins) for 44 years. Loving father of Ryan (Katie) and Jennifer (Jesse) Conway. Dear Papa of Bayleigh, Olivia, Sophia, Raidynn and soon to be baby Conway. Survived by five sisters and five brothers, many nieces &nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Mary Davidson.

Doug worked for General Motors for over 30 years, retiring in 2016. Doug enjoyed volunteering at the Ice Dogs games as an usher, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Thorold Community Credit Union and bowling at the Merritton Community Center.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Catharines Critical Care Unit 2B for their care and compassion. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 11:00-3:00pm at Amici’s Banquet Centre (2740 Merrittville Hwy, Thorold).
