The Local would like to congratulate all the recent retirees.

The Local Retiree Chapter is open to all Local 199 Retirees. Located at 124 Bunting Road, in St. Catharines, the Retiree Chapter organizes events including golf, darts tournaments, cards, bingo and more. The Local would like to recognize the retirements of the following representatives:

Ken Maclean – Brother Maclean has served the membership in multiple capacities, the most recent as Pension Representative for the last three years. Thank you for your dedication and service to the membership.

Alex Latham – Brother Latham has served on the Executive Board as Guide, as well as an in-plant Union Counsellor. The Local would like to thank Brother Latham for his countless years of service to the membership. Over the years Brother Latham has helped countless members overcome struggles in their professional and personal lives.

Steve McMullen – Brother McMullen has served the membership faithfully as the Chair of the Elections Committee, and for the last nearly six years, as the Financial Secretary of the Local. Brother McMullen has been a dedicated representative and activist on behalf of the membership. From assisting members with Employment Insurance, to taking on the challenges of WSIB, Brother McMullen has been a steadfast advocate. Thank you for your service and dedication to the Local and all of its members.
