GM PAYROLL DEPOSIT DATES
Here is an update from GM Payroll/IT on the deposit dates for processing a number of the key economic changes associated with our new CBA:
- December 3rd payment: 2.5% general increase and the $0.38 skilled trades adjustment – retroactive adjustment to September 28th
(These adjustments will also include the migration of the in-progression employees into the updated New Hire Grid and the associated adjustments.)
- December 10th payment: % shift premium – retroactive adjustment to September 28th
- December 17th payment: P&Q Bonus
I also wanted to make you aware that the tax treatment categorization of overtime pay will be switched from “periodic” to “non-periodic” within the ADP system effective January 1, 2021 which will finally help address our members complaints about the weekly tax fluctuations associated with the rolling annualization in ADP that normally occurs in the first half of the year.
