NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS & ELECTION
ELECTION COMMITTEE
Eight (8) to be elected
Term: Three (3) years (2020 – 2023)
Please note: You cannot hold any other elected position in Local 199 and also be on the Election Committee.
The nomination box will open on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. and close on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. The nomination box is at Local 199 Union Hall, 124 Bunting Rd.
Election, if necessary, will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Union Hall. Actual voting times for that day will be posted on a further notice.
Please Note: Retirees cannot run or vote for any of these above positions.
Anyone elected to a position, must attend at least two (2) General Membership meetings in a three (3) month period or will be removed from office pursuant to Local Union Bylaws.
