Labour Day 2019 – St Catharines
The 73rd Merriton Labour Day Parade will be held on Monday 2rd September 2019. The Executive Board of Local 199 would like to invite you to join us celebrate in style. We have a full day’s activities planned for our members and their families. You can walk or ride in the Merriton Labour Day Parade, you can join friends and family at the Union Hall for a family BBQ, kids can play on the inflatables or you can simply chill on the on the patio and listen to Marty Allen & the Cadillac Cowboys. - 10 am meet at the Pen Centre parking lot
- 11 am Parade starts, Stonewall Live
- 1 pm Family BBQ, free Inflatables & Ice cream for kids, raffles, at 124 Bunting Road, St Catharines
- 1:30 Marty Allen Band, Live on the patio
- Members who walk in the parade will receive a free Building the Community T Shirt, shirts will be available for sale after the parade
- A city bus has been booked for retirees and members who need a ride from the Union Hall to the Pen Centre, will drive in the parade. The bus will drop you off at the Union Hall after the parade. You must register for the bus.
This event cant run without volunteers, we need drivers, walkers, photographers, people to run the BBQ, sell tickets and help clean up.
