Retiree Health Care Benefits – Enhancements
There are several changes to retiree benefits that will be in effect in 2018. I have attached two documents. A bulletin that summarises the plan enhancements that will be in effect as of January 1st, 2018. Covering the following enhancements:
- Vision Care, maximum increased from $300 to $350 every 24 months
- Eye Exams, Reimbursement increased from $85 to $120
- Medical Supplies, reimbursement increased from 80% to 90%
- Hearing Aids, per ear limit increased from $1,000 to $1,500 every three years
- Dental Implants, additional coverage for 50% of implants
- PSA tests, increased from $15 to $35
- Future Contributions reduced annual indexing of monthly contributions from 5% to 1.5%
