CAMI Workers have been on strike since September 17th 2017 The main obstacle to settlement in these negotiations remains job security. Unifor is seeking a contractual commitment that the General Motors CAMI plant will remain the lead producer of the Chevy Equinox. Pickets have been set up 24/7
SOLIDARITY RALLY
On Friday 6th October 1 – 3 pm there is a solidarity rally scheduled, you are invited to join media, local politicians, general public, & Local 88 members to show your support. There will be a march from the farthest gates to converge at the South lawn.
