Community Cares Says Thank You for $250,000 donation
Bette Lou Souter CEO of Community Care stopped in at the Union Hall for a meeting and to show me her new Chevy Equinox. Members of CAW Local 199 have a long relationship supporting Community Care and the good work they do for the residents of Niagara. Over the past 20 years Local 199 members have donated over $250,000 through plant gate collections.

Other programs offered by Community care include: the Snacks & Sneakers program which provides backpacks and school supplies and the Jumpstart provides financially disadvantaged children, aged 4-18 years, with the opportunity to participate in sports and recreational activities.
I would like to thank Bette Lou for her tireless roll as an advocate and leader for the Niagara Region; I would also like to thank Bette Lou for purchasing a new North American vehicle and supporting our members.
