NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS & ELECTION

ELECTION COMMITTEE

Term:  Three (3) years (2023-2026)

Eight (8) to be elected

 

Please note:  You cannot hold any other elected position in Local 199 (except Standing Committees) and also be on the Election Committee.  Lost time is only paid when required for Election Committee work.

The nomination box will open on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. and close on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 @ 3:30 p.m.  The nomination box is at Local 199 Union Hall, 124 Bunting Rd.

Election, if necessary, will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Union Hall.  Actual time(s) will be shown on the Notice of Election.

Please Note:      Retirees cannot run or vote for any of these above positions.

Anyone elected to a position, must attend at least two (2) General Membership meetings in a three (3) month period or will be removed from office pursuant to Local Union Bylaws.
