From the President’s Desk

As we come to the end of 2019 I am proud to say Unifor Local 199 now represents 26 different workplaces in the Niagara Region. I would like to thank all the unit chairpersons for their incredible efforts and for inspiring us all with their activism, you should all be very proud of the difference you have made for the workers you represent.

I would also like to thank National Reps Doug Orr, Mike Michaud, John Hockey and Donna Higham for their hard work over the past year, without you, my job would be almost impossible to do.

To our members, I want to thank you for your ongoing support and for your incredible generosity to help those in need at Christmas. It has been a privilege and honour to work with all of you over the past year.

On behalf of the Executive Board I wish you all a safe and happy holiday with your family and friends.
