Labour Day 2012
<September 3rd 2012, CAW Local 199 celebrated Labour Day 2012 in style. Fortunately we avoided the forecasted rain and enjoyed a beautiful sunny day. 199 members walked and rode in the Merritton Parade, following the parade back at the Union Hall we had a classic car show, BBQ, kids entertainment, draws and a band. We would like to thank all the volunteers who made this a great day and everyone in the community who came out to celebrate with us.
The Labour Day draw winners are; Chris Ridley $1,199, Nick Dellomo, $499, Dave Boulton, $199, Deborah Delvecchio 32′ TV (Labour Council Draw) All Penny Raffle and silent Auction winners can pick up their prizes at the Union Hall Monday – Friday 8 am – 4 pm.
