Rally for Steel Workers in Crisis
A rally for Canada’s steel industry, its workers, retirees and communities has been organized in Hamilton this Saturday 30th of January.
Union members and concerned Canadians from across Ontario will be attending the Steel workers Rally to show their support. Local 199 has booked a bus to shuttle our members and retirees to the event. The rally is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m. Jan, 30th, at Hamilton City Hall.
The Bus leave the Union Hall, 124 Bunting Road, St Catharines, at 11:30 am, and will return by 4 p. m.
Join us send a strong message to the federal and provincial governments that Canada needs a secure and prosperous steel industry which is a critical component of our economy, and remind them they must protect Canadian Jobs and negotiated Pensions.
