After a tough set of negotiations, the membership at FirstOntario have ratified their new three year Collective Agreement. The agreement sees a 4.5% wage increase, plus $0.35 COLA fold-in, in the first year; with 2.5% in year two and 2% in year three. The Bargaining Committee also secured benefit increases for full and part time employees, an additional paid float day, a retirement incentive increase, increased vacation bonus entitlements, and an $850.00 signing bonus.

On top of language housekeeping, the Union also secured National Truth and Reconciliation Day as a stat holiday,
