EVERY CHILD MATTERS – ORANGE T-SHIRT CAMPAIGN

The outpouring of grief and support from Unifor members following the discovery of a mass grave at the site of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School has led to a wave of requests for materials to use at the local level.

Orange Shirt Day is held annually on September 30th across Canada to honour the experiences of former students and survivors of the residential school system and to promote awareness about the residential school system and the harm it has had and continues to have on Indigenous communities.

These t-shirts can be worn now and beyond Orange Shirt Day September 30th to demonstrate your commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.

Anyone interested in ordering a t-shirt, contact Steve McMullen at 905-964-6285.  The Local will be putting in an order.  The deadline to order is Friday, June 18, 2021.  The cost to you is $15.
