Happy Pride Month 2021

Happy Pride Month 2021

While it is still far from what the normal Pride Month looks like due to COVID-19, we have taken massive steps and pivoted into the digital age of transforming Pride Month. From in person events to online, and from traditional outreach to a more social distancing friendly approach, communities in the LGBTQ+ have come together to overcome adversary.

I would like to make a local congratulations to Saint Catharines for adding their progressive pride flag onto Saint Paul Street crossing. Thank you to all that helped.

This year the committee has decided to host a digital trivia night (click on link below to open poster) which will happen on June 26th at 6pm via zoom. Please e-mail Lindsay Gilliss (lgilliss2@gmail.com) or your rep to register. Spaces are limited.

Resources as always are posted at work sites, and online to those who need it. Despite not being able to attend social gatherings, we are not alone in this challenge and we all are people who must help one another to get through these difficult times.
