Union reps were at the plant gates of General Motors to collect funds for families in need at Christmas. The responce was once again overwhelming, $8,239 was collected from Unifor memebrs, GM employees and contractors as they arrived at work.
Unifor Local 199 and the Social Justice Fund topped up the collection to $11,000. All moneys raised were donated to Community Care, Project Share and The Hope Centre. A special thank you to everyone who opened their hearts and wallets to help families in need at Christmas.
