GM Plant Gate Collection, On Thursday May 16th CAW Local 199 went to the plant gates at General Motors and asked our members to open their hearts and wallet to make a donation in memory of Ron & Jill Gandza. Ron a GM employee for 28 years and his wife Jill were both tragically killed in a car accident while on vacation. Collectively you raised $10,316, all monies collected will be placed in an education fund for their son Greg. On behalf of Greg Gandza, I would like to sincerely thank all our members for once again demonstrating your generosity and compassion.
