Sunday 11thNovember 2018, Greg Brady President of Unifor Local 199 attended the Remembrance Day Service at the Merritton Cenotaph in St Catharines. This year marks the 100-year anniversary of the end of the First World War. With a cold November wind blowing the crowd observed a minute of silence to remember those brave Canadians who have fought and died for Canada. Greg laid a wreath at the foot of the Merritton monument.
“It was an honour to see the Cadets as they marched from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 138 to the cenotaph on Walnut street. On this day we remember and honour the Canadians who fought for our country.”
