GM Members on Lay off over Holiday Period

Members at GM who are on layoff as of November 7th 2016 will receive Sub and EI payments over the Christmas period and will not be paid holiday pay from GM.

Members who were laid off on November 14th will receive 50% holiday pay and will be required to declare this income when reporting for EI

It is important that members that were laid off as of 14th of November or later, to wait for your GM pay stubs and declare your holiday pay received from GM as income.
