2012 Alzheimer Walkathon Raises $5,699

2012 Alzheimer Walkathon ($5,699)

This years Alzheimer Society Walkathon was a great success, CAW Local 199 collected $5,699, finishing first in team pledges helping the society to exceed their campaign goal of $60,000. This success was only possible because of the volunteers who came out to support this event and your generosity. Once again we showed that the members of CAW Local 199 passionately cares about and supports the Citizens of Niagara.

We would like to thank every individual and all the organizations that made a donation; our family, friends and neighbours, CAW 199, Active Members and Retirees, the CAW 199 Community Services Committee, the CAW 199 Recreation Committee, the CAW 199 Retirees Chapter,. Draw prizes were donated by CAW Local 199, The Golden Pheasant (Duck), Heather Grant Massage Therapist, The Den Hair Salon, Smiling Fish Restaurant, Simply Delicious Fruit Bouquets, Collins Nissan and John Bear Buick GMC.
